Flying under the radar of Utah’s best public golf courses is the aptly named Wolf Creek Golf Course located at — you guessed it — Wolf Creek Resort in Eden, Utah.
We’re not sure why this golf course hasn’t shown up on some of the major websites as a golf destination… but it should.
Overlooking the Odgen Valley at an astounding elevation of 5,357 feet above sea level, Wolf Creek offers some of the most breathtaking views you will get at a golf course.
The majestic Wasatch Mountains are a sight to behold as you line up to take your shots. In fact, as you stand on the green of Hole 2, which by itself is a beautiful undulating green framed by white sand bunkers, it’s hard not to be mesmerized by the natural beauty of your surroundings.
Having said all of that, the golf at Wolf Creek is spectacular — and very challenging. Sloping fairways, looming trees, native fescues, and undulating greens all are present and constantly ensure that you are on top of your game.
Although this guy did not play his best golf while at Wolf Creek, there was some satisfaction taken by letting the driver rip and watching the ball fly through mile-high air. Not to mention that this course, despite the challenges it poses, is well worth a visit.
